When yoga is practiced in schools children demonstrate an increase in self-regulation practices and resilience to stress. It is reported that children experience a reduction in anxiety and depression leading to fewer behavioural problems in the classroom.

GROUP PRACTICES
for students and teachers
Group practices in schools are designed in consultation with education providers and can be themed based on the needs of the class.
Examples of Group Yoga Practices are as follows:
Teens Restorative Yoga and Nidra group for teens who struggle at exam time with stress or anxiety.
Kidding Around Yoga module during gym using music, games, group and partner yoga poses as well as resting and meditation practices to support self-regulation, physical and emotional balance.
Yoga Club designed for specific age groups, where children can explore the 3 elements of Yoga, Meditation, Movement and Mindfulness.
PRIVATE PRACTICES
for students and teachers
Children are physical, they are silly, they love to laugh and they love to learn. In our after school Kids Yoga class children learn meditation, mindful movement and breathing techniques in a program specifically designed for them. Our teacher has worked with children for over 18 years and has a deep understanding of the world they occupy and how yoga can support their experience.

MINI KIDS YOGA
3 to 8 years
Using toys, music, art and imagination Mini Kids Yoga encourages children to explore their internal and external environments. Children will learn traditional yoga poses, mindful movement, meditation and mindful breathing in a way that sparks their creativity and sense of wonder.
